This straw vote is non-binding and serves as a barometer of support, 50% plus 1 or greater facilitating the legislative incorporation process. If it is approved, a sample city charter and a feasibility study will be presented to the Florida Legislature seeking the municipal incorporation of Navarre.

“Shall proposed legislation, a sample city charter and a feasibility study be presented to the Florida Legislature, seeking the municipal incorporation of Navarre, FL? Yes or No?”

There are two different ways to vote:

In-person on October 12th from 8am to 5pm at three locations:

1. Andy D's (8649 Gulf Blvd)

2. St. Sylvester Church (6464 Gulf Breeze Parkway)

3. Central Navarre (8510 Navarre Parkway W)

As an absentee:

• Voters may request a ballot from September 15th to October 4th

• The last day absentee ballots will be accepted is October 11th (we recommend returning them no later than Oct 7th)

• Absentee ballot requests may be emailed to vote@honestballot.com with 'Navarre' in the subject line or call the main number (800) 541-1851.  The person making the request should provide their name, address, city, state, and zip code.

You are required to be a Navarre resident to participate in this vote. Voting is restricted only to Navarre residents within county voting precincts 26, 29, 34, 35, 38 and 40. All voters will have their voter registration verified prior to voting to assure all submitted ballots are valid.

Yes, voting is restricted only to Navarre residents within county voting precincts 26, 29, 34, 35, 38 and 40.

Voters will only be able to vote once just like any other election.

The vote will be administered by the company Honest Ballot who have over 100 years of experience and have conducted 25,000 certifiably accurate elections.
